We are currently looking for a Fullstack Developer with strong Python expertise for a long-term assignment in Stockholm.
Background
Our client is transitioning from a long-term consultant engagement and is now strengthening its in-house Python capability. The team is relatively small but manages a large portfolio of applications. Therefore, we are looking for a consultant who can quickly build system understanding, take ownership, and independently drive initiatives forward.
The right candidate is proactive and capable of identifying potential risks or future issues early, ensuring long-term stability and continuity in delivery.
Role Overview
We are looking for a senior or strong mid-level backend developer with solid Python expertise and proven experience working in production environments.
You will contribute to a large existing codebase and take responsibility for stability, automation, integrations, and continuous improvements.

Responsibilities
- Own and maintain designated parts of the system
- Troubleshoot and support operations
- Monitor and maintain automated flows
- Drive continuous improvements
- Ensure system stability and performance
- Follow internal security routines and coding standards
Required Competence
- Strong expertise in Python
- Solid backend development experience in production systems
- Experience building and maintaining APIs, integrations, and database logic
- Good understanding of secure coding practices
- Experience working according to established security routines and policies
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
- Comfortable working in console-based and Unix environments
Preferred Competence
- Experience with PHP
- Experience with JavaScript and frontend libraries (e.g., Node.js, Vue.js)
