We at Soros are seeking a Financial Controller for our client for a long-term assignment.

Background:

Modernizing the digital landscape for workforce planning will have a significant impact on the client’s co-workers, customers, and business resilience. They are accelerating the implementation of people planning tools through a global program aimed at enhancing digital solutions and the co-worker experience across all workforce planning capabilities.

Workforce management processes and connected digital tools are critical to the successful, efficient, and compliant operations of the client. These processes ensure that co-workers are available at the right time and place to meet operational needs, that schedules are created, made available, and kept updated based on co-workers’ availability, and that time cards are correctly managed to ensure accurate salary payments.

Scope of the Role:

We are looking for a versatile Project/Financial Controller who will drive financial insights for a fast-paced, multi-country program. This program involves the rollout of initiatives in 30 countries, each running independently and concurrently. This role requires a solid understanding of financial best practices, coupled with the ability to interact and negotiate with country leadership and digital teams regarding financial requirements or deviations from standard project frameworks.

As a proactive and initiative-taking Financial Controller, you will engage closely with project managers. Your insights will be vital in helping project managers, portfolio owners, and the management team maintain control over costs, which is crucial for effective program steering. You will lead the reporting and follow-up on the financial performance of the overall program, as well as provide individual market analysis while working closely with business stakeholders, business navigation, and accounting teams.

Requirements:
