We at Soros are seeking a PMO Lead (Senior 4-7 Years) for our client.

Modernizing the digital landscape for workforce planning will significantly impact the client’s co-workers, customers, and business resilience. They are accelerating the implementation of workforce planning tools through a global program aimed at enhancing digital solutions and the co-worker experience across all workforce planning capabilities.

About the Role:

As a PMO Lead, you will be a key player in the program management office, spearheading the implementation of a Workforce Management digital solution. This role involves organizing and coordinating internal and external project teams, managing meetings, project plans, presentations, and reports, and ensuring efficient tracking. You’ll collaborate closely with the Global Solution Delivery Manager and project managers across all streams to monitor the status of project deliverables and milestones, manage risks, and escalate issues as necessary. You will also be responsible for project-level reporting, contributing to governance arrangements, and developing and rolling out robust program/project management processes, tools, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and embed PMO standards across program phases.
  • Maintain and manage initiative documentation and facilitate key governance forums.
  • Support the PPA Program Delivery Lead in developing and managing the integrated program plan, ensuring plan structure and integrity.
  • Assist Project/Workstream leads in producing robust plans that contribute to the integrated program plan.
  • Ensure that workstreams and projects have the relevant documentation, plans, and RAIDs in place, maintained timely and to the right quality.
  • Produce program-level forum papers, agendas, and reports, managing actions and minutes at governance meetings.
  • Determine and monitor resourcing and financial requirements, including budgets, drawing insights to inform daily delivery.
  • Manage and maintain the RAID log of the program and assist with managing internal and external interfaces.
  • Assess risks, track thematic issues, and ensure planned outputs deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Develop and manage a centralized change control process, ensuring the business case is updated and managed through appropriate governance.
  • Further develop templates, processes, and guidelines to drive program internal communication and adoption.

Who You Are:

  • A proactive team player with solid experience in establishing and running PMO for global digital implementations.
  • Skilled in both strategic and hands-on PMO delivery, with a track record of building trustful relationships with stakeholders.
  • You have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and are adept at presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and various program/project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SmartSheets, OnePlan, Jira).
  • Experienced in facilitating the development and maintenance of integrated plans, with strong execution tracking and analysis skills.

Location Flexibility:

While it is advantageous if you can be on-site a few days a week, remote work is also an option.
