Financial Project Manager for FS Partnerships Implementation – Gothenburg

About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Project Manager to join our client’s team, driving and leading the implementation of Financial Services (FS) partnerships and solutions in selected markets. This includes managing new market launches and partner transitions in existing markets. You will support the Head of Business Development and Head of Financial Services in delivering key FS partner changes scheduled between Q3 2024 and Q1 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Project 1: FS Partner Change in Germany

  • Transition Retail Finance (Leasing) operations to a new partner with existing commercial and digital integrations.
  • Manage end-to-end process mapping, governance, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Execute delivery and oversee hypercare improvements.

Project 2: FS Partner Change in the United Kingdom

  • Transition Retail Finance (Leasing) operations to a new partner with existing commercial and digital integrations.
  • Similar responsibilities as Project 1.

Project 3: FS Partner Change in Denmark

  • Transition Retail Finance (Leasing) operations to a new partner without existing commercial and digital integrations.
  • Similar responsibilities as Project 1, with added focus on new integration solutions.

Additional Tasks:

  • Manage and coordinate FS partner selections and RFQ processes in selected markets.
  • Advise and support the client’s transition to an assisted sales (Agency) model.
  • Challenge and support the development of FS domain solutions.

Your Profile

  • Experience: At least 5 years (preferably 10) in banking, auto finance, or a related field, with a strong track record in project management and delivery.
  • Expertise: Extensive knowledge of banking/finance/treasury products, services, and processes. Certified PMO with relevant project experience.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and ownership mentality. Proactive mindset with excellent communication abilities.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in German and/or Danish is a strong advantage.

  • Inventory Funding (Trade Finance & Floorplans)
  • Retail Finance
  • Retail Insurance

Assignment Details

  • Location: HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden (on-site 3 days per week).
  • Duration: Temporary assignment focused on delivering high-impact FS projects.
